Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms offered a very good view of the garden and a small lake within the hotel. The night party in the lawns behind most rooms was enjoyable despite the early checkout at noon. The semi open bathroom added a unique touch to the room.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the garden view rooms near the swimming pool and lake offered a pleasant setting, the alternative garden facing cottage lacked any view and had an open bathroom design, making it less than ideal. The service was friendly but sometimes required follow-ups. The location, just opposite the beautiful Wembanad lake, provided a serene ambiance, perfect for relaxation. Dining options were decent, offering a mix of local and Western cuisines.
I stayed in the garden facing cottage, which didn't offer a view due to its location. The open bathroom layout was a bit uncomfortable as it was next to the entrance of the adjacent cottage. Despite these drawbacks, direct garden access with hammocks hanging between palm trees provided a relaxing atmosphere.
I had a cozy stay surrounded by nature in this hotel, with comfortable rooms but beware of mosquitoes in garden view rooms. The service was attentive despite limited customer interaction. The location offered a serene view of Lake Vembanad but was a bit hard to locate away from the city center. Unfortunately, the dining experience fell short with an unsatisfactory spread. The facilities suited my needs overall.
The hotel offers rooms priced on the higher side but absolutely worth it, with a lakefront view for enjoying stunning sunsets. The seclusion provided by the brick fencing offers a unique experience, with direct access to the garden, making it a truly relaxing stay. However, the service fell somewhat short of expectations, with a VIP room that lacked maintenance and restricted offerings due to some limitations. The location amidst the majestic Kumarakom backwaters offers serene views but could benefit from friendlier staff. Dining options are good, featuring South Indian and continental dishes, yet with some room for enhancement.
I had a mix of experiences at this hotel. The room was secluded with a lovely view of the garden and lake, but it was a bit musty with some maintenance issues. The service was friendly, but check-in was delayed. The location by the lake was stunning, and the dining options were good value for money with a nice variety of local food.
I had a bittersweet experience at the hotel. The rooms were equipped with a tea/coffeemaker, mini fridge, and had direct access to the garden, which was lovely. However, I was disappointed to find a musty room with broken sliding doors and poorly maintained toilets. The service, though kind in explaining the VIP room status, fell short with a pushy payment request and lack of bar permit. The location, right by the Vembanad lake, was outstanding but could benefit from friendlier staff. The dining experience was decent, with a mix of South Indian and continental dishes, but more continental options would be appreciated.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room provided a nice view of the garden and a small lake within the hotel, but it was not as impressive as I had hoped. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the public areas offered stunning views over the water. However, the room itself was not up to the mark of expectation.
